Employee to entrepreneur. One step at a time.
Stepping beyond: from jobs to journeys. This is my story - so far.
Where I come from
I was born in Bikaner. After years of living in Mumbai, I moved back home to Bikaner in April 2025. I studied Electronic Instrumentation & Control and completed my B.E. (Hons) from the University of Rajasthan in 2007. That same year, I started working in telecom.
The corporate years
My career took me through some great companies - Reliance Communications, ZTE India (where I was a Key Account Manager in 2011), Aircom/TEOCO (2013), RFS (2016-2018), and R&M India (2018-2023), where I led sales as Sales Head.
I learnt how big deals are won, how teams work, and how customers think. I also learnt something else: a good job can still leave you feeling stuck.
My first venture - Shree Vardhman Store
In 2018 I started my first venture: Shree Vardhman Store, a new family store in Bikaner. Once it was set up, I went back to my job, and my family took over the day-to-day. Today the store is running well and growing. It taught me that a first step doesn't have to be a giant leap - and it made me sure I would build again.
Purejoice - a side hustle that taught me a lot
In July 2020, during Covid, I registered Purejoice Products Private Limited while I was still working at R&M India. Under the brand Purejoice, we sold quality dry fruits. It began as a side hustle, and it taught me what no job could - what it really takes to sell your own product to your own customers, with your own money on the line.
In March 2025 we closed our operations in Mumbai. Closing something you built is never easy. But I don't see it as a failure. I see it as the fees I paid for lessons I use every single day.
Stepping out for good
In August 2023 I left corporate life for good to build businesses, and in September 2023 I started as Founder of Televers Networks, with my co-founder Sandhip K. Bhatla. In May 2025 we launched the first beta of eazmybiz, our B2B documentation portal and a digital initiative by Televers. Our office is in Delhi; Sandhip handles day-to-day operations there, and I travel to Delhi every month for Televers work.
Back home in Bikaner
In April 2025 I moved back to my hometown, Bikaner. Here I also support our family business, Shree Sethia Store, an FMCG wholesaler. Being home keeps me close to my family - and close to the basics of business: customers, stock, cash and trust.
One honest thing
Right now I'm doing more than one thing, and I won't pretend that's a superpower. I truly believe that focusing on one thing gives far better results. But I also know this: in a struggle phase, if you need to do three jobs or start a side hustle to keep going, don't hesitate. Do what it takes, stay honest with yourself, and keep moving towards the one thing that matters most.
Why I write
The hardest step is the first one. I know, because I stood at that door for years. So every day I write a handwritten reminder, and sometimes a poem, for anyone standing at their own door. If one line helps you take your 1st step, it's worth it.
What I write about: entrepreneurship, personal growth, productivity, and getting unstuck.
Always learning
Since 2019 I've kept learning, mostly through online courses, alongside everything else. Web, HTML and app development - which is how I now build my own web apps. Digital marketing and video sales - which changed how I tell people about what I build. Writing - which shows up in my notes, poems and newsletter. And life coaching - which helps me support the people who reach out to me when they feel stuck.
I'm not an expert in all of these. I'm a student who keeps showing up. That's the real lesson: you don't need to know everything before you take your 1st step. You learn on the way.

My bookshelf
Books have shaped how I think about work, money, focus and life. My reading moves between Jain philosophy, self-help, writing and psychology. A few that stay close to me:
Books by Acharya Mahapragya (Jain philosophy)
Deep Work - Cal Newport
Mindset - Carol S. Dweck
The 5 Types of Wealth - Sahil Bloom
Die With Zero - Bill Perkins
The Art of Focus - Dan Koe
On Writing Well - William Zinsser
Influence - Robert B. Cialdini
The E-Myth Revisited - Michael E. Gerber
Read something that changed you? Tell me on Instagram - I'm always looking for my next book.
Let's stay connected
I share a new handwritten note every day. Come say hi.
Building businesses & mindsets. Here to push you to take that 1st step.
